Workshop Connect & Speak Dutch through games!
The workshop is a guided activity where our hosts ensure that participants are connected and practice Dutch together. It is not a language course, instead it is focused on having fun, building connections between people, and practicing speaking in a relaxed way.
All language levels are welcome, from complete beginners to advanced speakers. Native speakers who enjoy helping others with the language are also very much welcome, for them it’s a fun way to connect as well (you get 15% discount on your drinks!)
The schedule:
6:00 PM – We kick off the evening with a shared dinner at The Villy, where we can enjoy delicious food and get to know each other.
7:20 PM – After dinner, we start with a warming-up session led by our hosts. We’ll play icebreaker games to break the ice and make everyone feel comfortable.
7:40 PM – Next, we’ll form groups based on language level, with a native speaker in each group. In these groups, we’ll practice Dutch in a fun and informal way through various games and activities.
8:30 PM – After an exciting session of games, it’s time to wrap up. For those who wish, there’s an opportunity to stay for a drink and socialize.
9:00 PM – We conclude the evening, hoping that everyone leaves with a smile and improved language skills.

Dinner menu:
Fish in beer batter and potato gratin with a side of pickled veggies. Of course it is also possible to order from The Villy menu. Please also let us know your allergies etc at theroofs@thevilly.com.
